Your external project must meet the following main criteria.
The project must be submitted by an employee who has been with Alpro for at least 6 months or a retired former Alpro employee.
The project should be carried out by an association with a clear humanitarian or social objective in the vicinity of an Alpro establishment.
You or one of your family members must have at least 1 year of personal, active involvement with the above association as a volunteer.
Exceptionally, external projects in which you are not active yourself but that appeal to you because they help people in need can also be considered if you provide a good motivation.
The project should be small in scale and concrete in nature. The social objectives should be clear and those who benefit from them should have a face.
The support will consist of max. EUR 5,000 for a project in which you (or a family member) are actively involved and max. EUR 3,000 for a project in which you are not directly involved. You will have to report details of how Alpro Sociaal Funds money was spent.
For one and the same association, a maximum of three new projects may be submitted.
From the context of its mission and values, the Alpro Social Fund, which is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, supports initiatives of associations / non-profit organizations in which Alpro employees and retired employees (or their immediate family members) are directly involved as active volunteers. These associations / non-profit associations are active in the vicinity of the Alpro offices or of the residence of the Alpro employee concerned.
